Lodging:
We have reserved the Poplar Motel at Graves Mountain Lodge for our Retreat. There is a very comfortable conference room with kitchen. The rooms have either twin beds or king and several have a queen bed. Make your reservation early so you will be accommodated in the Poplar Motel portion of the Lodge. All rooms are non-smoking. No phone, some do not have TV and do bring a travel alarm, you don’t want to miss breakfast! There are central phones located in the Poplar Lodge where we will be housed and you have free local and long distance calls. There is also free wireless internet broadband in the lodges. Check-in time is 3:00 pm, check-out time is 11:00 am.
Please make your lodging reservations directly with Graves Mountain Lodge. Call them at 1-540-923-4231 and mention the Retreat code of HKR so that you will be housed in the same location as other members of the Retreat.
Location of the Lodge:
Please consult the Lodge website at http://www.gravesmountain.com for excellent driving directions. If flying, you could use Charlottesville Albemarle Airport (one hour to lodge), Dulles International Airport in Washington, DC (two hour drive to lodge) or Richmond International Airport in Richmond, VA. (two and half hour drive to the Lodge.)
