Plethora of Leaves

Plethora of Leaves is a scalene triangle worked by starting at a single point and working to the cast-off edge and completing the project with a picot bind-off.

The stitch was chosen to represent leaves of the fifty year old pecan tree on our property. However, it also reminds me of the many outings I had as a child in England with an I Spy Book of Trees in hand. All the time learning to recognize the trees by their leaves and jumping in piles of crunchy leaves in the autumn.

Gauge is not essential to this project. However, size and finished fabric may vary based on choice of yarn and preferred gauge.

Carodan Farms Tides Gradient are a reflection of the many colors reflected in nature on Chincoteague and Assateague Islands, Virgiinia.
