Elsebeth Lavold's LinSilk yarn is a blend of linen and silk in a worsted weight. Silk gives sheen and the linen gives texture and altogether is a soft yarn. Each different fiber absorbs the dye differently giving lovely depth to the colorway and your project. Fiber content is: 50% linen, 30% vixcose, 20% silk. Yardage is 219 yds/100g skein. Gauge is: 18-20 sts/4ins on size 6-7 needles. Handwash in plain water.
