Lake District Shawl is a crescent shaped shawl created with a wave like pattern. The stitch reminds me of ripples on the lakes in the British Lake District on a cloudy day when worked with blue/grey colorways and hills, valleys and public footpaths in green/peach colors. Lots of good memories of holidays knitted into every stitch.
While gauge is not essential for this project it is strongly recommended. The gauge given is after blocking the swatch.
The lace/eyelet stitch pattern used is a compilation of several stitch patterns I adapted to create the final design.
Chincoteague Colors Tides Gradient 6 PAK allows for unique use of the yarns.
