| Cool Socks for Warm Weather |
| Sock knitting isn't just for wooly winter. These short tennis shoe or sandal socks are worked in a soft cotton blend to get your warm-weather toes tapping in no time! Four designs are included in the pattern: seashell shortie, short sport, garden partie, sorbet cooler. Chris did the samples in Wildflower D.K. by Plymouth yarns, but suggests that they may also be done in Debbie Bliss cotton/wool blend, (3 balls) or Fixation yarn (2 balls.) Needles recommended: two sets double-pointed needles, sizes US 2 & 3. |
