The Malabrigo yarns are produced in Uruguay by a small family-owned company, along with a rural women's cooperative. The sock weight is dyed with the same luscious colors as the other weights of yarn. This yarn is 100% superwash merino wool and will knit up equally well as a shawl with the same gorgeous results. Yardage is 440 yds/100g skein. Gauge is 7-8 sts/in on size 1-2 needles. Machine washable. Dry flat.
