| Combining a variety of stitches such as Celtic knots, twisted-cable rib and knotted cables, Melissa has designed a gorgeous addition to our Carodan Farm designs. The Celtic knots travel up the front of the sweater, framed on the lower half of the sweater by graduated knotted cables. The back does not have the center Celtic knots, only the graduated knotted cables. These knotted cables give the sweater a very attractive slightly fitted appearance. This sweater has a bit more challenge than most of our other designs and we have classed it for advanced intermediate knitters.
The directions for the Knotted Cable pattern were inadvertently left off the pattern. Please print and put with yout pattern.
Knotted Cable:
Rows 1, 3, 5, 7 (right side): K2, P2, K2
Row 2 and every even row: P2, K2, P2
Row 9: Cross 6
Row 10: repeat row 2
Finished Chest Measurements:
36 (40, 44, 48")
Materials needed:
5 (6, 7, 8) skeins Carodan Farm worsted weight yarn,
size 6 & 8 needles, cable needle, markers, row counter
