Frog Tree Yarns imports these yarns from Bolivia and is unusual because of their mission - to supply meaningful and continuous work to various artisans and non-profit groups. One of their primary imports is the Alpaca yarn, which is produced by a non-profit cooperative in Bolivia. This cooperative has trained between 800 and 1200 women to produce beautiful hand knit articles from this yarn.
