Shop Opens Tomorrow with Usual Schedule

Posted by Caroline Hershey

We are back on the Island with just a little debris to clear out and very glad to resume life as usual. Now I have the task of returning all the yarn to the shelves that I grabbed on the way out of town just to make sure I had enough. Never know how long we would be evacuated, right? Dan ended it when he said there was no more room in the truck unless I wanted it in the bed of the truck with no cover. AWK! That quickly ended it.

Melissa and I did start a knit-along (only takes two right?). Knitting the sampler vest that is featured in the May-June issue of Cast-On. We both chose Madelinetosh Sock yarn (of course it’s one of those I had tossed into the truck) in shades of blue. It’s working up lovely and I’m sure we’ll have something to show off soon.

Hey, did I tell everyone? Wendy Johnson will be back to conduct the SoXperience 2012 workshops, April 13-15th. Mark your calendars. More info later in the fall.
