PA National Quilt Extravaganza

Posted by Caroline Hershey

We are heading out this week for the quilt festival in Oaks, PA which is right outside of Philadelphia. The show will run from Thursday through Sunday at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center. There are always exquisite quilts to view, materials to tempt all quilters and then there’s me, with the most beautiful yarns in Chincoteague Colors you have seen. (I’m not too biased.) Do stop by our booth!

The shop on Chincoteague will be closed this week, reopening on Wednesday, Sept. 21st.

Here’s my latest shawl which used two balls of Hempathy yarn plus one of Uluru. The pattern is the Delovely Shawlette  available free on Ravelry. It is knitted beginning with the lace edging which, while knitting it, seems never ending but with beautiful results.
