Felted Scarf

Rowan KidSilk Aura

I used the Aura to knit a straight scarf in stockinette stitch with 2 balls until the yarn ran out. Then I felted it just using two bowls of water, one hot and one cold. It took just 30 minutes to felt. Cathy then added the embroidery stitches making it a unique piece. She used a whipped stem stitch and the heads just plain straight stitches.  The foam is Pekinese  stitch. Can you imagine the wind blowing the beach grasses with foam from the waves.
