Cabled Collar

Elsebeth Lavold pattern

What a fun project to knit. I used Elsebeth Lavold’s Silky Cashmere which is a delight to work with – softness plus some. The little cables were neat and no trouble at all. The two ruffled edges were a bit challenging because there were so many stitches (300+) as you can imagine to get the ruffling. As she said, a collar is a nice change from scarves.

Close up of the cables. As you can see, this yarn has a nice sheen to it also.
