Joker and the Thief

Jackie knitted this with our 6-PAK Gradient yarn plus one skein of our Starry Skies. It is the most beautiful shawl imaginable. You can find the pattern on Ravelry.

The north and south herds are having a rest day today before the swim tomorrow. Couldn’t pass up a chance to share a photo of this cute little guy. I think there are 59 foals to be auctioned off on Thursday. The money raised goes to support our volunteer fire department.

Pony Penning Week

We’re at the beginning, kicking it off with the southern herd being led into the brand new corral. Lots of foals in this group. This is taken earlier in the week.

Look at this cute little knitted doll. BJ made this in a class she took in the DC area and brought it to show us how clever it is knitted all in one piece.

Knitters Walk

Posted by Caroline Hershey

moth No, we don’t knit as we walk, which would be fun too. We just walk, feeling good, ready to tackle the day after the exercise. Recently we have been walking at the beach in the parking lots which is easier than on the sand itself. Yesterday, this little fella kept me company, in fact he had many buddies fluttering all around.

While attending the TNNA show , Dan & I came upon the Trendsetter yarns booth with this lovely gradient shawl displayed.
And of course could not leave without bringing some of the kits back to the shop. Here are two of the colors we have and you can see about 8 more colors in the shop.
