Jackie has wonderful memories of her mom knitting her an Olympic sweater which got worn until it was absolutely worn out. This spring, Jackie knitted herself an Olympic sweater with 2010 design.  What a beautiful sweater!

We head to the Maryland Sheep & Wool Show today and consequently the shop is closed until next Tuesday, May 6th. Dan & I have sweet memories of our sheep and llamas and enjoy seeing them again at the show, where I can sneak off and hug and squeeze some of them. Do miss them but love Chincoteague!

Two At One Time

Posted by Caroline Hershey

I had a great class on knitting two at one time beginning with little wristers so that everyone could get the technique down without getting sidetracked by what we were making. After the moaning and groaning there were delighted smiles as the technique was accomplished. They also added jogless stripes and picot edging to their repertoire. Laura took hers a step further and made fingerless mitts adding a thumb.
