Lacy Baktus Scarf

Posted by Caroline Hershey

I wanted to share the lovely scarf in the Lacy Baktus pattern (free pattern on Ravelry) that Alisa is knitting. She is almost finished and was moaning and groaning when she had to leave the shop before it was completed. She is using a perfect combo of the Sublime Lustrous Merino and the Caracara yarns.

First Sweater

Such excitement to finish a sweater for the first time. Joshua completed  this sweater using a Pure & Simple pattern. Great first sweater pattern as it is knitted from the top down,
has some shaping which is optional, no buttonholes just a band to knit around the front. What a great job!the yarn is Boku.

Alpaca a Favorite

Posted by Caroline Hershey

Capelet a hit!

This was one of the favorite yarns and patterns at the Hampton Quilt show. I knitted it with one skein each of the Baby Alpaca Grande Hand Dye and Baby Alpaca Ultimo alternating each and ending with the Hand Dye at neck. Gorgeous yarns and so soft. You’ll love having them next to your skin.
