This delightful shawl was a fast knit because the body is stockinette knitted with short rows. The leaf pattern is added when you are finished with the body. The pattern is a free pattern on Ravelry.

Introducing our “Sand Dollar” weekly sales!

Why the name sand dollar you ask? Because the yarn in our shop seems to be as plentiful as the sand on the beach and dollar, because you will be saving dollars. Each of the sale yarns/items offered will be 40%-50% off regular price. This price will be good for one week – Monday 5pm-Monday 5pm or until that particular stock is depleted. So watch for our first “Sand Dollar” sale this Monday, June 20th.

Celebration on Chincoteague Island


We gathered in Robert Reed park and enjoyed the lovely breeze off the Chincoteague Bay and knitted the afternoon away.


We were even able to help a new knitter with questions. The day was a sucess!
