Notice - Sheep farmer loses sheep to coyotes and bear attacks. You would think this might appear out west but, no, right here in central Virginia. Our small farm is surrounded by more and more homes, and who would think that our sheep would provide tasty treats for these predators. But, that’s the way it is. Since we don’t appreciate supplying their treats, we have purchased an Anatolian guard dog. Neely lives with our sheep, and we believe she is doing her job. At least there have been no more attacks on her watch.
